How It Works

Employees / Members Begin Using the Portages Mobile App

Employees download and enroll in the Portages mobile app, complete the Portages Self-Assessment, and are then self-guided through a personalized self-care mental health and wellbeing journey.

Employees / Members Link with Family and Friends

Employees can invite close family and friends to privately and securely link with them using the Portages app to collaborate and support one another on their shared journeys to improved mental health and wellbeing.

Employees / Members are Screened and Guided to Care

If the Self Assessment indicates more comprehensive screening may be indicated, employees register with Portages Health through their app and complete a brief screening of current substance use concerns, anxiety, PTSD, and depression symptoms, participate in a brief intervention if concerns are flagged, and are guided to care if indicated.

Employees / Members Directly Access Portages Health for Care

With the push of a button in the Portages mobile app, employees can virtually access Portages Health to initiate care that may include individual or group coaching programs, individual therapy, group therapy, psychiatric care, and Intensive Outpatient Programs if indicated. They can access virtual care services from their own private location at home, work, or wherever is most convenient for them.
